Pamela Anderson is addressing the whispers head-on. The 57-year-old Baywatch star has finally spoken about her chemistry with Liam Neeson, after weeks of speculation that the pair’s onscreen partnership in The Naked Gun remake has spilled into real life.
“He’s such a gentleman, such a sweetheart, so giving and generous, and so complimentary and supportive that, you know, you can’t help but fall in love with him,” Pamela told OK! magazine.
The confession comes after fans spotted the pair looking cozy on their promotional tour for the slapstick comedy reboot.
A connection beyond the script
Pamela plays Beth Davenport in the new film, opposite Neeson’s Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. And while their characters mix business with chaos onscreen, it’s their offscreen bond that has people talking.
The actress admitted she feels comfortable around Neeson, praising his humor and boyish charm. “He has that little boy sense of humor and he’s funny,” she said. “In rehearsals, we’d be playing around and having a bit of a laugh.”
Liam himself teased their chemistry during a joint appearance on the Today Show, saying, “We discovered a silly bone in each other.” Pamela quickly agreed: “Yeah.”
The rumors swirl
Multiple insiders have claimed the stars have been quietly dating “for a while,” even managing a private, long-distance romance. Reports suggest Liam has spent time at Pamela’s Canadian home, where she enjoys cooking and gardening — a lifestyle sources say he finds “wholesome and un-Hollywood.”
“Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living,” one insider told the Daily Mail. “It’s impressive to him.”
Fans, meanwhile, have been rooting for the pair, with social media buzzing that Pamela and Liam could be Hollywood’s most unexpected couple.
Love after loss?
For Liam, romance speculation carries a deeper emotional note. The Irish actor has remained largely private since losing his wife Natasha Richardson in 2009, a tragedy that left fans touched when he recently recalled the last seven words he whispered to her.
Pamela, however, seems to be offering a softer, light-hearted chapter in his life, one filled with laughter, support, and silliness.
Onscreen chaos, offscreen spark
As for The Naked Gun, the film itself promises plenty of slapstick mayhem, with Neeson’s Drebin Jr. and Paul Walter Hauser’s Ed Hocken Jr. stumbling through an investigation that lands them in the path of Pamela’s character, Beth.
But offscreen? It’s the chemistry between Pamela and Liam that may just end up being the movie’s biggest plot twist.
