Even Chrissy Teigen and Tan France couldn’t save this one.
Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix venture may have just met its match. The Duchess of Sussex’s second season of With Love, Meghan has reportedly flopped so hard, PR experts are calling it “an obituary for Season 3.”
Despite her high-profile guest list and her royal status, Meghan’s lifestyle-meets-cooking series has yet to crack Netflix’s coveted Top 10, a worrying sign for a platform that thrives on data, engagement, and buzz.
A Show No One’s Watching
While Season 1 of With Love, Meghan made the global, US, and UK Top 10, with 2.6 million views, (even if hate-watchers helped boost the numbers), Season 2 has “fallen off a cliff into an abyss,” according to Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants.

“When a royal brand can’t crack the board, it’s likely an obituary for Season 3,” he told Newsweek. “Even with Chrissy Teigen and Tan France glitter-bombing the set, the series hit the pavement.”
Teigen and France brought flair, with Tan even joking that Meghan’s floral sprinkles were “the gayest s–t I’ve seen in a long time,” but their charm clearly wasn’t enough to pull in viewers.
No Buzz, No Season 3?
Schiffer pointed to the lack of influencer engagement and social media takedowns, once Meghan’s accidental superpower, as an indicator that the show didn’t just fail to connect, it failed to provoke any conversation.

“That influencer erosion… highlighted a litmus test for real demand,” he said, “and that demand is gone.”
PR Misses, Lukewarm Guests
Brand strategist Nick Ede echoed the sentiment, calling the second season “a side dish rather than a main dish.” He added that the second season was panned, the guests weren’t particularly great, and there wasn’t much of a PR push apart from Meghan doing one interview.
“It wasn’t zeitgeisty. It didn’t spark. Netflix runs on algorithms and hype — and this season had neither,” Ede said.
Stream It While You Can?
As of now, With Love, Meghan hasn’t been canceled. Both seasons are still available on the platform, but if the ratings freefall continues, Meghan’s streaming future could be heading toward a quiet fade-out.
