Meghan Markle is giving the world a peek at her most personal supporting cast: her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, surprised fans over Labor Day weekend with a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from season two of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan.
Among the snapshots? Rare images of Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, enjoying life on set. The first photo, taken from behind, showed the siblings sharing headphones while watching their mom on a monitor, and what instantly caught fans’ attention was their matching red hair, a clear nod to dad Prince Harry.
Sweet sibling moments on set
In another playful shot, little Lilibet spun in a director’s chair with the family beagle at her feet. Archie got his big moment too, clapping the director’s board with a grin while Meghan captured the memory. “Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments,” she later told PEOPLE.
A crew member recalled how the kids would light up the set whenever they visited with their father: “She was super attentive and doting on them. We would give them headphones so they could listen to audio.”
Meghan explained that she intentionally filmed at a rental near their Montecito home instead of inside their house, to keep their family haven private, while still letting her children see her passion up close. “I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does,” she shared.

Harry, music, and keeping the vibe alive
The family affair extended beyond just the children. The carousel opened with a shot of Meghan alongside chef José Andrés, one of her season two guests. Later, it also featured Prince Harry appearing with Meghan and chef Clare Smyth, their private wedding reception caterer, during her season two episode.

And while the photos melted hearts, Meghan revealed one more behind-the-scenes trick that kept spirits high: music. “Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation! Work hard, play hard 🎶,” she wrote, posting a curated playlist of 19 songs that fans could instantly add to their own rotations.
A glimpse of family pride
For Meghan, letting Archie and Lilibet be part of the process was about more than adorable snapshots. It was about connection. “I hope that when they get old enough, they feel really proud that they were part of the beginning of this with me,” she reflected.
It’s a rare glimpse into the Sussex family’s world that blends career and family life seamlessly. And for fans, it’s proof that whether she’s behind the camera, in front of it, or holding her kids close, Meghan Markle is still creating moments that feel both intimate and inspiring.
